Join us for an all-day, 8-hour event featuring informational/educational talks on hoarding and OCD, community resources, and OCD Midwest’s plans to deliver training and consultation to area communities to better address the needs of those impacted by hoarding. Morning sessions will focus on OCD treatment and will include an "Ask the OCD Experts Panel" with members of OCD Midwest's leadership and workshops on OCD-related topics for clinicians and community members. Afternoon sessions will focus on hoarding and clutter issues. Sessions will include an "Ask the Experts Panel", a "Sorting and Discarding Demo", workshops on getting family members involved in help, and a workshop on "Organizing a Community Response for Hoarding." Lunch will be provided and our experts will be available to provide further information and to answer your questions during the 1-hour lunch period.

Attendees must attend the full length of any talk or workshop to qualify for continuing education credits.
 
These introductory workshops are designed to help participants:
1. List basic principles of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
2. Explain the stages and targets of ERP for OCD and Hoarding Disorder.
3. Implement the principles of ERP in structured individual sessions.
4. Integrate ERP-specific techniques and tools into therapy sessions. 
5. Describe and implement the steps to build a community response to hoarding.
